America's Got Talent???

Well, if the first two acts are any indication, America is seriously lacking in talent and they need to rethink the name of the show...

First we had the "rock magician" followed by "Diva Boy." It's not a good sign.

I think I'll go to bed.....

Edited to add: It just keeps getting worse - I didn't think it was possible.....

10 Weeks To Go!

How in the world did Week 30 get here already?? I can't believe that we are 3/4ths of the way through this pregnancy and we will be welcoming Little Bit in 10 weeks (give or take). It is so exciting, but also overwhelming at the same time!

The nursery is moving right along (pictures coming soon!). All the furniture is put up, the bedding is in (minus the crib skirt that my good friend is making), and the drawers even have some clothes in them. Washing and folding all those itty bitty clothes was a serious reality check! I love the nursery and find myself just walking in to look around a few times a day. I'm looking forward to getting some things up on the walls and making it a little more "homey."

I'm feeling really good for the most part. I am starting to get tired again, but the uncomfortable part hasn't really hit yet except for at night. I can't complain too much, that's for sure! We are still able to train at the gym a couple of times a week and I'm still able to get up and down from the floor with the little ones at church. I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts!!!

So there's the little update. It is just amazing to me that we are really in the homestretch now. I can't wait to meet this little one!!!

No Friends Like Old Friends

I spent this past weekend in Charlotte with my best girlfriends from college. I am always amazed at our ability to just pick up where we left off. I have been friends with these girls for almost 12 years now, and it has been so much fun to watch life unfold in each of their lives. This is truly an amazing group of girls and I am so blessed to have them in my life.

We spent the weekend talking, eating, and just being girls! On Saturday afternoon, we decorated onesies for Little Bit and my friend Cindy's upcoming arrival. Then they threw a shower for me on Saturday evening. Here are a few pictures from our weekend!

Bunco Baby Shower!

I had my first shower a couple of weeks ago and had such a great time! My Bunco girls in my old hometown threw a great party for me! (Yes, I still travel an hour and a half once a month to play Bunco with these cool chics!)

So That's How You Do It...

While eating sushi at one of our favorite restaurants, CAL noticed the directions on the chopsticks and we couldn't stop laughing.

Learn how to use your chopsticks:
1. Thumb
2. Add second chopsticks hold it you hold a pencil
3. Hold first chopsticks in original position move the secong one up and down
4. Now you can pick up anything
5. Enjoy

And yes, this is EXACTLY how they are printed on the package.
So many things wrong with this, I can't even begin to comment....
